Third Class Power Plant Engineer

This is a full-time, 12 month, AFSCME position.

TOUR OF DUTY: Sunday-Monday 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., *
DAYS OFF: Friday and Saturday*
LOCATION: Campus Wide

This is an essential position.

This position will operate, maintain and/or repair high pressure boilers and auxiliary machinery and equipment; clean machinery and equipment; respond to emergencies or equipment breakdowns; maintain adequate supply of fuel; and perform related work as required.

The basic purpose of this work is to ensure that assigned power plant facility is operated and maintained safely and efficiently.
