Assistant Professor of Music Theory and Aural Skills

The Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor in Music Theory and Aural Skills, beginning with the 2027-2028 academic year. The Division of Music Theory is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute through their teaching, research, and/or service to the diversity and excellence of our academic and musical community. We encourage applications from candidates who will bring a fresh perspective to our existing courses and whose expertise encompasses a broad range of repertoires and methodologies.
