Postdoctoral Research Scholar

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Postdoctoral Research Scholar will be working in the area of compounding and cascading extreme weather events.
Research tasks include statistical analysis of historical observations and model simulations of compounding events and evaluation of data-driven earth system model simulations for compounding events.
The postdoc researcher will support multiple NOAA and NSF funded projects by collaborating with researchers from NC State University, NOAA, and international collaborators.

This position is located in Asheville, NC.
