Academic Advisor or Senior Academic Advisor

Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Student Support at Fordham College, the Academic Advisor provides holistic, personalized guidance to First and Second Year students in Fordham College at Lincoln Center (FCLC), aiming to bolster their academic success, strengthen their connections to their programs of study, introduce them to relevant extracurricular opportunities, and support their transition to college-level studies. Academic Advisors also play crucial roles as liaisons, facilitating ongoing communication and collaboration with the faculty leadership of academic programs, with faculty advisors, and with administrative staff within the Deans’ Offices and throughout the university. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required to support major campus events.

Depending on background and qualifications, an appointment will be made as either Academic Advisor or Senior Academic Advisor.
