University of North Carolina Wilmington Wilmington, NC
The Standardized Patient Actor will portray a patient or other individual in a scripted scenario for the purposes of instruction, practice, or evaluation in the School of Nursing Simulation Learning Center. Equipment that touches body secretions (such as oxygen tubing) will be dedicated to each actor.
The Simulation Learning Center follows the standards set by The Association of Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) to ensure the key values of “safety, quality, professionalism, accountability, and collaboration.”
