The primary location of this position is on-site in Cullowhee, NC. This position is designated as being subject to the State of North Carolina Human Resources Act (SHRA).
The primary purpose of this position is to support access and inclusion for students with disabilities by coordinating reasonable accommodations, auxiliary aids, and related support services through the Office of Accessibility Resources. The position conducts student intake meetings, reviews disability-related documentation and student self-reports, and applies applicable policies and legal requirements to help determine appropriate accommodations. This role provides ongoing student support and case management, connects students with campus and community resources, assists with testing accommodation processes as needed, and contributes to outreach and programming efforts that promote awareness of accessibility services across the campus community.
