Project Management Program Instructor (Part-Time)

This is a part-time, temporary instructor position to teach on an ongoing, as-needed basis. We are seeking qualified professionals with current industry knowledge and teaching experience in project management including areas such as project planning and scheduling, risk management, Agile and Scrum methodologies, project leadership and communication, and project cost and resource management.

- Develop and update course syllabi in consultation with the PACE Executive Director, using the PMI® PMBOK® Guide and approved syllabus template and ensuring alignment with program competencies and learning objectives.
- Prepare and deliver online, evening course content in the assigned instructional format, including lectures, learning activities, case studies, and assessments relevant to project management practices.
- Communicate clear teaching objectives and learning outcomes to students, including detailed grading policies, expectations, and course requirements aligned with industry standards such as PMI® guidelines.
- Evaluate student achievement of learning outcomes through assignments, examinations, and applied project-based assessments, and assign grades in accordance with program standards.
- Respond to student inquiries, including questions related to final grades, and consult with the Program Director as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of professional practices, industry standards, and emerging trends in project management.
- Participate in required orientations, meetings, and complete mandatory training programs by PACE-established deadlines.
- Employ culturally competent and inclusive teaching strategies that support engagement, belonging, and success for both domestic and international students.
