The Wendy U. and Thomas C. Naratil Endowed Professorship in Oncology Nursing

The M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing at Villanova University invites applications for the inaugural Wendy U. and Thomas C. Naratil Family Endowed Professorships in Oncology Nursing, a distinguished tenured faculty appointment for a teacher-scholar dedicated to advancing excellence in cancer care through nursing scholarship, education, clinical practice, and leadership.

We seek a visionary oncology nursing scholar, educator, and leader with a strong national and/or international reputation who will elevate the College’s impact in cancer research, interprofessional education, and clinical innovation. Supported by dedicated funding, the Endowed Professor will drive transformative research, cultivate interdisciplinary partnerships within the Philadelphia region’s renowned cancer ecosystem, mentor and educate the next generation of nurse leaders, and shape conversations that advance cancer care nationally and globally.

The Endowed Professor will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels within the Fitzpatrick College of Nursing. We also anticipate an affiliation with Fox Chase Cancer Center, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and ANCC-recognized Magnet® hospital based in Philadelphia, PA. Options related to this potential partnership will be discussed with candidates as part of the interview process.
