On Call Sound Technician

Assumes the responsibility of the assembly, operation and maintenance of technical equipment designed to amplify, enhance, record, mix or reproduce sound for live performances and events.
Confer with Technical Director on technical riders and production needs to determine sound requirements, equipment needed and feasibility of plan with available equipment.
Confer with production team for each event to ensure the production needs are met to the best of the department’s ability.
4Oversee student workers and student sound designers, as needed
Maintain department standards for safety
Coordinate with stage crew during performance
Other related duties as assigned or as necessary
