General Laborer Pool (Temporary Summer Vacancies)

Eastern Oregon University (EOU) accepts applications for temporary General Laborers to join our Facilities team

This posting is to apply to an applicant “pool” from which EOU will hire applicants as needed to fill temporary needs in staffing throughout the Summer to help clean and maintain our residence halls.

Custodians and Trades Maintenance support the goals of the EOU Facilities Department by maintaining the cleanliness, general appearance, and general maintenance of the residence halls. Responsibilities may also include setting up spaces for campus events and assisting with moves between offices and buildings.

As the occasional first point of contact for students, staff, and the general public, the incumbent will be called to answer general questions in a courteous personal and professional manner.

The length of position assignments will vary but are unlikely to extend beyond 6 months.
