Laboratory Technicians

The Wang lab in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry is seeking to fill a lab specialist position. The Wang lab develops and uses novel biochemical tools to study the biosynthesis and functions of important chemical modifications on RNA. Commonly used techniques in the lab include cell culture and transfection, RNA purification and manipulation, molecular cloning, protein purification, and Illumina sequencing library construction.The technicians are expected to work closely with the PI to carry out specific experimental tasks and generate publication-quality data. They will also assist with maintaining lab supplies and equipment.
