Research Scientists (non-PhD)

The Neural Plasticity, Rehabilitation & Movement Dynamics Lab at the University of Utah is seeking a full-time staff-level Research Engineer. This individual will work across a variety of funded research studies focused on improving arm and hand function after stroke. The role will include collecting and analyzing human biomechanical and neurophysiological data, providing technical data management and quality control support for ongoing clinical trials using brain stimulation, and designing and building custom devices and equipment to support human-subject data collection. The position will include collaborative interactions with other funded research and collaborators at the University of Utah, including those in Mechanical Engineering.

This is grant funded position. One-year contract that is renewable based on the availability of funds and performance. Funding is expected to be available for at least 4 years.
