Vehicle Operators

The Heavy Equipment Operator on the Construction Crew performs skilled construction, maintenance, transportation, and campus support services utilizing commercial vehicles and heavy equipment. Responsibilities include snow removal, asphalt repair, storm drain maintenance, refuse collection, material transport, and operation of specialized construction equipment throughout the University campus. The position requires demonstrated experience safely operating heavy equipment and CDL-rated vehicles.

Experience operating front-end loaders, trackhoes, street sweepers, dump trucks, snowplows, and related heavy equipment. Experience with asphalt repair and roadway maintenance. CDL Class A preferred. Tanker and Air Brake endorsements preferred. Excavation and trench safety training preferred
