Event Planning Management

UtahPresents is seeking an experienced, full-time Event Supervisor to help lead front-of-house operations at the historic Kingsbury Hall, one of Utah's premier performing arts venues. Reporting to the Event Manager, the Event Supervisor oversees house management, patron safety, emergency preparedness, and a team of part-time house managers and ushers while coordinating closely with the Box Office, Production, Marketing, and Administrative teams. This role also supports event planning and client services for more than 180 annual performances, ceremonies, and community events spanning music, theater, dance, comedy, lectures, film, graduations, and more.
 
 UtahPresents is a mission driven, non-profit, campus-based arts presenter located at the University of Utah with a focus on bringing diverse artistic and cultural experiences to the campus and the region. As stewards of the iconic Kingsbury Hall, UtahPresents provides a valuable gathering space for community events and campus partners. Kingsbury Hall is a 1992-seat historic proscenium theatre in the heart of University of Utah in Salt Lake City that hosts a wide spectrum of events and performances. Operating year-round, we support around 20 performances on the UtahPresents season as well as numerous rental events for community groups, national and international promoters, and campus groups. Genres include music, theater, dance, opera, comedy, film screenings, lectures, conferences, graduations, and more. Support may extend to UtahPresents presentations in other venues a few times a year.
