Healthcare simulation center Simulated Participants(SP) perform the role of the patient or family members during health care simulations or clinical skills trainings for learners in the University of Utah’s Healthcare education programs. SPs portray specific emotions, behaviors and disease symptoms while interacting with learners during simulated patient encounters. SPs aid in establishing and maintaining fidelity and realism to each simulation. SPs may participate in video productions, support voice-over for e-learning courses, photographs and other teaching material as required.
