Fire Systems Specialist I at University of Idaho, Moscow, ID
This position is responsible for ensuring life safety systems are working properly to detect and announce fires and/or trouble in all campus buildings.

This is an essential position that may be called upon in the event of an emergency and/or university closure.

Duties may include:
  • Ensure the proper operation of fire alarm systems
  • Collect and maintain fire systems records and systems information
  • Update and manage the university’s fire alarm system preventative maintenance schedules
  • Install and maintain Campus Panic/Duress systems and CCTV systems
  • Maintain and service campus fire extinguishers
  • Other duties as assigned
