Job Description Summary

The Farmer School Director of Industry Partnerships is responsible for the creation and execution of the school’s comprehensive corporate relations strategy.

This position is full-time and based on the Miami University Oxford, Ohio campus.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate & Regional Strategy: Develop and execute multi-tier corporate strategy by individual target company, region, city, and industry vertical.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Directly manage Tier 1–3 corporate partner accounts and executive points of contact.
  • Corporate Days & Treks Strategy: Direct overarching engagement strategy for on-campus company days, regional immersion trips, and corporate visits.
  • Class Project Strategy: Oversee high-level corporate client sourcing for academic integration.
  • Cross-Divisional Alignment: Serve as primary liaison to ASPIRE, the Center for Career Exploration & Success (CCES), and the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) on macro-level corporate engagement.
  • Farmer School Graduate Program Recruitment: Represent the Farmer School’s graduate programs when engaging w/ corporate partners for potential student recruitment.
  • Supervises Associate Director for Industry Partnerships and Student Engagement.

Some travel is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience related to the responsibilities of the position.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Relationship building.
  • Business Development.
  • Written and Oral Communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Experience working in student affairs
  • Personnel management experience.

This position has been approved for remote hybrid work: four (4) days on campus, one (1) day remote.
