The Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Neuropsychologist to join our growing and nationally recognized Neuropsychology Division at the rank of Assistant Professor.
We are looking for individuals with outstanding clinical training, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to academic medicine. Candidates with scholarly activity, research experience, and publications are encouraged to apply.
Position Highlights
The successful candidate will:
Serve as the supervising neuropsychologist for studies conducted through the renowned McKnight Brain Institute Center.
Provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for patients referred to the Department of Neurology and associated outpatient clinics.
Participate in a multidisciplinary neuropsychology outpatient practice serving a diverse patient population.
Collaborate with neurologists, neuroscientists, and other healthcare professionals within a leading academic medical center.
Supervise and mentor postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and trainees participating in the Neuropsychology Program.
Contribute to academic, educational, and research initiatives within the Department of Neurology.
Qualifications
PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
Completion of at least two years of postdoctoral training in neuropsychology.
Eligibility for or current Florida licensure as a psychologist.
Strong background in neuropsychological assessment and clinical care.
Interest in teaching, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
