About the Employer: IMPRS-BI

The International Max Planck Research School – Biological Intelligence (IMPRS-BI) is a joint initiative between the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU), and Technische Universität München (TUM). Located in Martinsried, Munich, and Seewiesen, IMPRS-BI is focused on understanding the nature of biological intelligence by combining disciplines such as neuroscience, behavioral ecology, and evolutionary genetics.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Required Education:

    • A MSc in biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, cognitive neuroscience, computer science, mathematics, or related fields.

    • Candidates with a BSc may apply for the fast-track program in collaboration with GSN-LMU, a partner PhD program.

  • Candidates must have their degree(s) awarded prior to the start of the program (it is not necessary to have the degree at the time of application).

  • Diverse backgrounds are welcomed, and the program is inclusive.
