Director of Teacher Residency

The Director of Teacher Residency is responsible for coordinating and supporting the yearlong teacher residency program, including tracking residency placements, overseeing site coordinators, and communicating key deadlines, program requirements, and expectations. The role prepares and delivers orientations, trainings, governance meetings, and information sessions for principals, site coordinators, residents, and district partners, while also facilitating regular check-ins and campus visits to ensure program quality and participant success.

Additional responsibilities include attending and coordinating program events, managing residency related surveys, data, and records; collecting, maintaining and analyzing program data to monitor progress, inform decisions, and support continuous improvement efforts. The residency coordinator also supports program evaluation activities, including walkthroughs, observation cycles, and outcome analyses, while collaborating with faculty through meetings to ensure effective program delivery and strong resident experiences.
