Assistant/Associate Professor

This role plays a pivotal part in advancing our commitment to sustainability education and fostering a culture of academic excellence. This role places a primary emphasis on teaching at the undergraduate level. The presence of the position on the faculty will provide increased intellectual depth and further enhance the quality of teaching and research already underway at ECSU by enhancing active and experiential learning. OR The Department of Natural Sciences at ECSU is actively seeking a dedicated candidate for the position of Professor of Sustainability, focusing on Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable Energy (hydro, wind, solar), and/or Environmental Science. Responsibilities include shaping the sustainability curriculum with a specific focus on agricultural practices, renewable energy technologies, and environmental science topics such as coastal erosion, conservation, and GIS studies. We are particularly interested in candidates with a demonstrated commitment to community engagement, diversity, and inclusive teaching.
