The primary mission of The Center for Counseling and Accessibility Services (CCAS) is to provide programs and outreach services to promote student engagement and assist in the emotional, psychological, physical and intellectual development of students with diverse backgrounds.
CCAS provides counseling services, accessibility accommodations, and disability support services designed to ensure equitable access to academic programs, campus facilities, and university services. Accessibility Services (AS) ensures compliance with federal and state disability laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Accessibility Services coordinates reasonable accommodations, provides consultation to faculty and staff, and promotes inclusive practices that remove barriers to learning and participation for students with disabilities.
