PROGRAM ASSISTANT

The Program Assistant – Health Outreach and Multimedia is responsible for assisting the Executive Director and the Public Health Nurse Supervisor in the administration of health outreach and initiatives at the Texas Southern University Center for Transformative Health. The Program Assistant will assist the Center for Transformative Health in improving community well-being through health education, outreach, and engagement. Our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to lead healthier lives. The Health Outreach and Multimedia Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing outreach strategies for the Center’s Healthy Conversations initiative, while also creating engaging multimedia content. This role involves building partnerships with community organizations, scheduling and promoting health education events, and growing our online audience across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health outreach, social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.

This is a Grant Funded position.
