The NEC Model of Cooperative Nursing Education utilizes a preceptorship-based approach. The part-time Cooperative Clinical Facilitator (CCF) is an NEC nurse educator who supports and facilitates Cooperative I, II, and III cooperative clinical experiences. These experiences span 14 weeks and consist of one 12-hour clinical shift per week, conducted in partnership with various healthcare organizations, including Catholic Medical Center, Concord Hospital, Cheshire Medical Center, Elliot Hospital, Parkland Medical Center, and Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
The CCF provides real-time educational support, conducts student evaluations, and promotes a collaborative clinical learning environment.
