Coordinates administrative and/or operational functions of an organizational unit under the supervision of a manager or director. May supervise and/or provide guidance to employees or be responsible for the management of programs, initiatives or events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as the graduation analyst for the College of Arts and Sciences regarding graduation certification for all CAS majors, verifying degree completion and conditions, notifying and confirming requirements with students and advisors. Consults regularly with departmental advisors, faculty, and administrators regarding curriculum changes such as major or minor, exceptions, substitutions, and other adjustments in UMdegree. Also serves as a resource for other graduation analysts across the university needing assistance.
Must demonstrate with a high degree of specificity strong written and verbal communication skills in partnership with the other CAS graduation analyst. Strong analytical and research skills. Must be able to work as part of a team.
Works in coordination with the Registrar and Commencement Offices to ensure proper degree certification. Writes letters of degree verification, sends requests to the Office of the Registrar to manually remove repeats, coordinates with the Office of Admissions to request the postage of transfer work, signs forms such as TCRs, ABM, course overload graduation plans, and generates reports to process graduation status.
Develops and maintains current student records in UMdegree, Banner, and EAB Navigate platforms. Acts as liaison and collaborates with relevant administrative offices regarding the graduation needs of the student.

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of appropriate experience in academic degree evaluations preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
