Director for High School Life
University of North Carolina School of the Arts Winston Salem, NC
Specific duties include: advancing high school wellness and student learning through intentional residence education and extracurricular programs and activities; supporting live-in staff in administering residence hall programming; assisting with assessment activities; supporting/advancing the case management model related to identifying and supporting at-risk high school students; supporting all institutional retention-related efforts; implementing efficiency expectations established by key stakeholders; managing and participating in departmental 24-hour/365-day professional staff/paraprofessional staff on-call process.
Secondary responsibilities include providing general support for the College Residence Life area for summer and break duty.
This position requires regular collaboration with the High School, Academics, Arts and other campus partners with the goal of aligning residence life programs directly with the university’s academic mission.
